    Alternate between cardio and strength training :) and if you're ready try the 1000 calorie workouts (approx. 3 times a week). I work out six days a week with one rest day in between while drinking lots of water and eating a clean diet. Ever since I started two weeks ago I continually lose about 200 grams a day. Which adds up to almost 2 pounds a week. Good luck!

    Hi there, I used to work with a personal trainer before I decided to exercise by myself (I'm a stay at home mom). So, for optimum weight loss you should include weight training because by building lean muscle you'll be able to burn more fat in the long run. Muscle burns calories from fat in order to maintain itself when you're not working out (so while your resting). You should have a balance of at least 30 min of cardio 5 days a week, and weight training 3x a week after cardio or combined.
